Parent Liaison/Support
Child's Voice provides our families with a parent liaison that is enrolled in Illinois’ Early Intervention. The Parent Liaison offers group and individual support for families so that they can learn to advocate for their child.
The Parent Liaison Services include:
- Serve as a member of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) team
- Provide parent to parent support on a continual basis
- Coordinate parent to parent links
- Provide information regarding resources and referrals
- Offer information and support regarding the transition process
- Attend transition conference at family's request
- Coordinate group "chats" to promote opportunities for families to meet and share experiences
- Offer information to educate parents of a child with special needs
